Responsibilities

• Assessments & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough speech, language, and hearing assessments using diagnostic tools and procedures.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized plans addressing specific speech and language disorders.
• Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one and group therapy focusing on articulation, fluency, vocal quality, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor progress, adjust therapy plans, provide feedback to patients and families.
• Education & Support: Educate patients and families about disorders and home practice strategies.
• Collaboration: Work with audiologists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessments & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough speech, language, and hearing assessments using a variety of diagnostic tools and procedures.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language disorders, including stuttering, articulation, phonological issues, and language delays.
• Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, focusing on improving articulation, fluency, vocal quality, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and provide feedback to patients and families.
• Education & Support: Educate patients and families about speech and language disorders, offering strategies to practice at home to reinforce therapy outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals (e.g., audiologists, psychologists) to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain Records: Ensure accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and reports.
