Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Bangalore Urban at Mind and Brain Hospital. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of different age groups. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and documenting progress and treatment outcomes in alignment with hospital protocols. The role also involves collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, and contributing to interdisciplinary case discussions to ensure integrated care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and management of general Speech-related issues.


• Candidates should possess expertise in assessing and treating Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders.


• Candidates should possess skills in identifying and treating Communication Disorders across age groups.


• Candidates should possess competencies in evaluating and managing Language Disorders.


• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from a recognized institution.


• Relevant licensure/registration as required by local regulatory authorities.


• Experience working in psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, or hospital settings is an advantage.


• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
