Job summary

Shiloah Therapy and Learning Centre in Bengaluru seeks a qualified Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist with 1–2 years of experience working with children on the spectrum and other speech disorders. The role involves conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, performing assessments, and providing feedback to parents daily.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, experience with OPD techniques, and can work on-site 5.5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or a related field.
• Experience with OPD techniques.
• On-site work 5.5 days a week.
• Mandatory: English fluency; Desirable: Kannada, Telugu, or Tamil fluency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions for children.
• Perform assessments for speech-language disorders for children with Autism, delays, learning disabilities, etc.
• Provide feedback to parents/caregivers after each session.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for children.
• Establish goals with parents and caregivers.
• Keep up-to-date with professional knowledge and pursue relevant certifications.
• Provide caregiver consultation as needed and meet with caregivers.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children.
• Maintain and update child data and session records.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers and stakeholders; participate in team meetings.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist with 1-2 years of experience working with children on the spectrum and various speech disorders.

Responsibilities

• Primary work would be conducting one-on-one therapy sessions for kids;
• Perform assessments for speech-language disorders for special children with one or multiple disorder like speech delays, Autism, Learning disabilities etc.;
• Provide feedback to parents and caregivers on a daily basis through discussion post-session;
• Develop and implement effective individualised plans for children;
• Establish understanding, expectations, and goals with parents of children;
• On an ongoing basis, keep abreast with profession knowledge and skill upgradation by reviewing publications, recent therapy skills and undergoing certifications;
• Provide caregiver consultation as needed and meet with caregivers throughout;
• Ensure the safety and well-being of kids;
• Maintain and update individual data and records during sessions;
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with parents, caregivers and relevant stakeholders;
• Attend and participate in team meetings.

Requirements
