Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional registration or license, where applicable.
• Strong documentation, case management, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and engage respectfully with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Prior experience in rehabilitation, pediatric or adult neuro settings is an advantage.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Speech and Language Therapist role based in Chennai. The Speech and Language Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across different age groups. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and monitoring progress through regular documentation and review. The role involves collaborating with other rehabilitation professionals, educating families and caregivers on home-based strategies, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The therapist is expected to participate in case discussions, contribute to program development, and uphold professional and ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech assessment and intervention.
• Candidates should possess expertise in managing Communication Disorders, including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Candidates should possess competencies in assessing and treating Language Disorders across developmental stages.
• Candidates should possess clinical skills in Dysphagia management, including safe swallowing assessments and interventions.
• Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional registration or license, where applicable, and adherence to relevant clinical guidelines.
• Strong documentation, case management, and interpersonal communication skills.
