Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - Vendor Governance to draft and negotiate contracts with vendors, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies. The role involves guiding internal teams and managing lifecycle activities from renewals to terminations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract governance, data analytics, and risk management, with excellent communication skills in English. This position is office-based in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business or related field.
• Professional experience in contract management and vendor governance is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and update contract terms and conditions to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Negotiate contract terms with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to secure favorable agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal regulations, company policies, and organizational standards.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, extensions, and terminations, maintaining accurate records.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters and best practices.
• Monitor contract performance, track key deadlines, and ensure timely execution of obligations.
• Identify, address, and resolve contract disputes or issues efficiently to minimize organizational risk.
