Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking a Specialist-Technical Support Admin-Drive Train; based in Chennai, IN. The role involves carrying out gearbox/drivetrain technical support, maintaining inspection reports, and coordinating service tasks. A background in wind turbine gearboxes and at least 5 years’ experience is required.

You will work with Service Now tickets, SharePoint resources, and leverage Excel for data analysis, with opportunities for training and career growth.

YOUR TASKS

• Strong technical knowledge of gearbox and drivetrain components
• Hands-on experience performing borescope inspections of complex gearboxes
• Practical experience providing drivetrain technical support and Lubrication topics
• Basic understanding of condition monitoring systems
• Ability to inspect and assess turbine condition (fault identification and diagnosis)
• Physically capable and willing to climb wind turbines
• Manage and provide technical support for Service Now Tickets.
• Support the maintenance and continuous update of the Main Component Priority Watchlist
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
• Oversee and maintain Drive Train Support SharePoint resources, including Inspection report management, Regional documentation management.
• Gearbox Oil Sample Manage gearbox oil sampling and provide technical recommendations to wind farms
• Data Monitoring & Analysis Perform NC2 data monitoring and collection

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with wind turbine gearboxes
• Proven experience in project coordination or similar role
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to undergo a high-level pre-employment medical examination
• Advanced Microsoft office skills
• Understanding technical background
