Job summary

AT&T is seeking a skilled professional in Bengaluru to design and implement Generative AI solutions for automating cloud operations, security analysis, and vulnerability triage. The role involves building AI-powered assistants, securing IMS/VoIP architectures on Azure and private clouds, and leading security monitoring and incident response activities.

The candidate should have 5+ years of Python development, IaC with Terraform, and experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, Ansible, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of Python development experience.
• Hands-on IaC development using Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Azure marketplace extensions development.
• Experience with Ansible playbooks.
• Basic shell scripting and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI solutions to automate cloud operations, security analysis, vulnerability triage, and infrastructure management workflows.
• Develop AI-powered assistants and copilots leveraging enterprise data, automation platforms, and cloud-native services to improve operational efficiency and decision‑making.
• Cloud Security Design and Implementation: develop robust security architectures for IMS and VoIP apps on Azure public cloud and private cloud (OpenShift), ensuring compliance with AT&T standards and regulatory requirements.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: monitor cloud environments for threats, respond to incidents, and conduct investigations to mitigate risks.
• Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: perform regular security assessments including penetration testing and scans to identify gaps; coordinate with vendors for remediation.
• Access Management: implement IAM policies to control access to cloud resources, ensuring only authorized personnel and systems have proper access.
• Automation and Scripting: automate scanning and analysis of cloud infrastructure scan results.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI solutions to automate cloud operations, security analysis, vulnerability triage, and infrastructure management workflows.
• Develop AI-powered assistants and copilots leveraging enterprise data, automation platforms, and cloud-native services to improve operational efficiency and decision‑making.
• Cloud Security Design and Implementation: Develop and implement robust security architectures for IMS and VoIP applications hosted on Azure public cloud as well as private cloud implementations (e.g. using Red Hat OpenShift), ensuring compliance with AT&T and industry standards as well as regulatory requirements.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Utilize security tools (cloud-native and otherwise) to monitor cloud environments for potential threats, respond to security incidents, and conduct thorough investigations to mitigate risks.
• Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management: Perform regular security assessments, including penetration testing, malware scans, and vulnerability scans, to identify and address potential security gaps in cloud infrastructures. Includes working with vendor(s) in identifying, analyzing, and defining mitigation/remediation plans.
• Access Management: Implement and manage identity access management (IAM) policies to control user and non-user access to cloud resources, ensuring that only authorized personnel and systems have appropriate access levels.
• Automation and Scripting: Utilize various methods to automate the scanning and compilation/analysis of scan results concerning the cloud infrastructure.

Job Qualifications / Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• IaaC development using Terraform
• Azure devops pipelines or github actions development
• Azure marketplace extensions development

Additional Job Information

This is an offshore role that requires daily collaboration with U.S. stakeholders, including overlapping work hours to ensure effective partnership and meet business needs.
