UPL Limited in Navi Mumbai seeks a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing of raw materials and toll manufacturing for the specialty chemicals business, build robust supplier relationships, and optimize value across the supply chain.

With 8–14 years in procurement operations or supply chain, you will drive cost optimization, negotiate agreements, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate closely with planning and SCM teams to meet targets and ensure supply continuity.

Qualificações

• 8-14 years of relevant experience in procurement operations or supply chain management.
• Strong focus on strategic sourcing in specialty chemicals.
• Experience with e-procurement systems and ERP (SAP, Ariba, EJ Buy, Ivalua) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing of raw materials and toll manufacturing products for specialty chemicals.
• Identify supply constraints, market trends, and risks; communicate timely to stakeholders.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements; monitor supplier performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing

• Lead all sourcing activities of raw material and toller manufacturing products for specialty chemical business.
• Identify and communicate supply constraints, market trends, and risks in a timely manner.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives in close collaboration with planning and SCM team
• Drive value creation through competitive sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier innovation.
• Drive inventory optimization with help of Planning team to achieve supply chain resilience and agility.

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
• Negotiate and establish robust supply agreements aligned with business objectives.
• Leverage market intelligence to mitigate supply risks and strengthen supply continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual and quality Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities.
• Define and deliver procurement solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 8-14 years of relevant experience in procurement operations or supply chain

management, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing in speciality chemicals

Technical Skills

• Experience with E procurement systems and ERP (e.g., SAP, Ariba, EJ buy, Ivalua) is preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity.
• Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the SCBU supply Chain.
