Job summary

Skillventory is seeking a strategic sourcing professional to lead end-to-end procurement of chemical raw materials. You will build and manage supplier relationships in domestic and international markets, negotiate favorable pricing and contracts, and oversee POs, logistics, and compliance to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 4+ years in raw-material sourcing or strategic sourcing, with experience in chemicals or pharma ingredients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in raw-material sourcing or strategic sourcing.
• Experience in chemical raw materials, agrochemicals, or pharma ingredients preferred.
• Strong skills in supplier development, vendor management, price negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Experience in global sourcing and import procurement is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Must hold a full-time graduation degree.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in chemical raw materials, speciality chemicals, agrochemicals, pharmaceutical ingredients, or related industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supplier development, vendor management, price negotiation, and cost optimisation.
• Experience in global sourcing, international suppliers, or import procurement will be an advantage.
