Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Java/Frontend engineer to drive performance, bug fixes, and changes from the business units. You will support application management, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and maintain data models across Oracle/PostgreSQL.

You will document technical details in Confluence and ensure feasibility with stakeholders. The role requires strong CI/CD discipline, DevOps practices, and experience with large monolithic legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive Java/Frontend tech stack experience.
• Hands-on with modern tooling including TypeScript and IDEs.
• Strong background in Agile and SDLC with CI/CD in practice.
• Experience with large monolithic legacy applications.

Responsibilities

Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years

• Performance tuning
• Implementation of changes and bug fixes based on requirements from the business unit.
• Support of the application management
• Participate in the Scrum ceremonies of the project team.
• Maintain sql data model based on Oracle/PostgreSQL including stored procedures
• Creation of technical documentation (Confluence)
• Consultation with requesters regarding technical feasibility
• Responsibility for build master activities
• Configuration of Tomcat
• Managing tickets in JIRA
