Job summary

Société Générale Global Solution Centre is seeking a Finance–focused Business Analyst to join our Bengaluru team. You will work on IT SDLC with Agile understanding, engage stakeholders globally, and drive process improvements across IT and business users.

The role demands hands-on accounting knowledge, ERP experience (Oracle/SAP), and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical abilities and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Good experience in Business analysis.
• Experience on ERP tool - Oracle/SAP.
• Knowledge and hands-on accounting process.
• Finance background required.
• Education: B.Com/MBA Finance.
• Hands-on experience in Advanced Excel and basic SQL queries.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• IT SDLC process & Good understanding of Agile. Nice to have the knowledge on SQL Queries.

• Always focuses on process improvements and Efficiency Gain within the IT team and for the Business users.
• Excellent team player with high level of team spirit and collaborates with all team members with a giving attitude and positive mindset.

Mandatory skills :

• Good experience in Business analysis
• Experience on ERP tool - oracle/SAP
• Candidate should have well versed knowledge and hands on accounting process.
• Candidate should come from Finance background
• Education : B.com/ MBA finance
• Should have hands on experience in advance excel and basics SQL queries.

Accounting & Finance

• Knowledge in Amortization, Deferred Cost, Accrued Income & Expenses
• Depreciation Process, Accounting Life Cycle.
• General Accounting / Lease Accounting – IFRS 16
• Inventory Accounts Management
• Accounts Controls Management and Reporting
• Any relevant Finance Certification are preferable.
