Job summary

Pretium Enterprise Operations India Private Limited (PES India) is seeking a Property Preservation Specialist to oversee property preservation inspections and manage repairs. In this role, you will ensure all property inspection orders are executed based on internal guidelines and maintain effective communication with vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of federal and state mortgage laws and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance with investor guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all property inspection orders are placed and returned based on internal guidelines.
• Monitor property preservation inspections and reports for securing and preserving properties.
• Reconcile reports as received.
• Monitor reports for vacancy, disaster areas, code violations, high risk, etc.
• Ensure property preservation of all properties as per investor/HUD guidelines.
• Provide hands-on approach to internal processes and vendor management.
• Recommend procedural changes and improvements as they pertain to the department.
• Stay abreast of changes to federal and state mortgage laws and regulations affecting the operation.
• Advise management of market trends.
• Ensure timely and accurate reports are received for distribution.
• Communicate with vendors daily.
• Liaise with the operations team, vendor management team, and auditors to resolve any exceptions as they arise.
• Communicate with US team members and local leaders to resolve issues and maintain a smooth flow of processes.
• Establish proper records, approvals, documentation, and audit trails for all transactions.
• Ensure adherence to effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Manage issues to mitigate impact and risk by early detection of risk items and active team involvement.
• Improve existing processes and automate established procedures.
