Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai seeks a Specialist – Key User MM/SD to provide Level 2 SAP support for MM/SD modules (ECC and S/4 Hana). You will analyze posting issues, ensure system stability and collaborate with stakeholders across functions to deliver effective solutions.

You will train users, handle SAP postings, assist in testing for rollouts, and coordinate SAP service requests and incidents. Strong English and analytical, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in economics, industrial engineering or business informatics.
• Very good SAP knowledge (ECC: MM, SD or S/4 Hana: STP, OTC, STC).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication abilities.
• Careful systematic and analytic way of working and prioritizing.
• Very high team orientation.
• Experience in spare parts management would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify system-related causes of errors in SAP.

Job Description

In this central expert role, you will provide Level 2 SAP support for business-critical processes within the MM and SD modules. You will analyze and resolve posting-related issues, ensure system stability, and support seamless business operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely and effective solutions.

The Position Includes In Particular

• Identifying system-related causes of errors
• Training and 2nd level SAP (ECC and S/4 Hana) support of users worldwide
• Offer solutions for order or delivery creation issues and SAP postings
• Assisting in testing activities for plant and storage location rollouts
• Coordinating SAP related IT Service Requests and Incident tickets
• Collaborating with the relevant specialist departments on process-related issues (e.g. supply chain, logistics, sales, production, customs, accounting)
• Address recurring problems to Improvement Managers, Master Data Team or Project Managers

Job Profile

• Completed studies in economics, industrial engineering or business informatics
• Alternatively, comparable completed vocational training with corresponding further qualification or professional experience
• Very good knowledge of SAP (ECC: MM, SD and/or S/4 Hana: STP, OTC, STC)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Very good written and spoken English knowledge combined with strong communication abilities and the competence to understand and train users at different skill levels
• Careful systematic and analytic way of working and prioritizing
• Very high team orientation
• Experience in spare parts management would be a plus
