Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to strengthen Secure Development Lifecycle practices and collaborate with agile teams across Hospitality Solutions.

You will support SDL, conduct security assessments, work with engineering, architecture and compliance teams, and help improve application security capabilities to protect customer and partner data.

Job Title

SPECIALIST - INFORMATION SECURITY

Summary of the Role

Security and privacy are important priorities at Amadeus. We have legal, contractual, and ethical responsibilities to protect customer and partner data while helping our products remain resilient against evolving threats. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will support and improve Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, collaborate with development teams, and help strengthen application security capabilities across the organization.

In This Role You'll / Your Main Responsibilities

• Support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and assigned groups on application security and privacy topics, providing guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, compliance, and security teams to implement and improve Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, processes, and tools.
• Participate in security assessments, penetration testing activities, incident response support, remediation tracking, and security backlog planning.
• Monitor application security coverage, maintain security tooling, collect metrics, and provide reporting that helps improve security capabilities across the organization.
• Share knowledge with team members, contribute to security-focused projects, and help promote consistent security practices across Hospitality Solutions and other partner teams.

About The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in application security, secure software development, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, application security testing methodologies, and security risk management principles.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering, architecture, compliance, and security teams in a technology environment.
• Ability to analyze security findings, communicate recommendations clearly, and support remediation activities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

The Application Security team works closely with software development, architecture, compliance, and operational teams to help strengthen the security and privacy of Amadeus products and services. The team supports secure development practices, security testing activities, risk reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement of application security capabilities across the organization.
