1127 Amadeus Software Labs India Private Limited is seeking a Specialist - Information Security to strengthen Secure Development Lifecycle practices across our product teams in Bengaluru. You will drive application security capabilities, partner with engineering, compliance, and security functions, and help teams build resilient software from design to deployment.

The role requires deep experience in application security, SDL, testing methodologies, and risk management, plus strong communication

• Experience in application security, secure software development, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, application security testing methodologies, and security risk management principles.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering, architecture, compliance, and security teams in a technology environment.
• Ability to analyze security findings, communicate recommendations clearly, and support remediation activities.

Responsibilities

• Support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and groups on application security and privacy topics across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, compliance, and security teams to implement SDL practices and tools.
• Participate in security assessments, penetration testing, incident response support, remediation tracking, and security backlog planning.
• Monitor security coverage, maintain tooling, collect metrics, and provide reporting to improve security capabilities.
• Share knowledge with teams and promote consistent security practices across Hospitality Solutions and partner teams.

Job Title: Specialist - Information Security

Summary of the Role: Security and privacy are important priorities at Amadeus. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will support and improve Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, collaborate with development teams, and help strengthen application security capabilities across the organization.

In This Role You'll / Your Main Responsibilities

• Support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and assigned groups on application security and privacy topics, providing guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, compliance, and security teams to implement and improve Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, processes, and tools.
• Participate in security assessments, penetration testing activities, incident response support, remediation tracking, and security backlog planning.
• Monitor application security coverage, maintain security tooling, collect metrics, and provide reporting that helps improve security capabilities across the organization.
• Share knowledge with team members, contribute to security-focused projects, and help promote consistent security practices across Hospitality Solutions and other partner teams.

About the Ideal Candidate

Experience in application security, secure software development, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity disciplines.

Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices, application security testing methodologies, and security risk management principles.

Experience collaborating with software engineering, architecture, compliance, and security teams in a technology environment.

Ability to analyze security findings, communicate recommendations clearly, and support remediation activities.

Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

The Application Security team works closely with software development, architecture, compliance, and operational teams to help strengthen the security and privacy of Amadeus products and services. The team supports secure development practices, security testing activities, risk reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement of application security capabilities across the organization.
