Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Fluent Commerce OMS, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable order management solutions, provide technical guidance to engineering teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive architecture and delivery excellence.

The role requires leading design, development, and implementation on the Fluent Commerce Order Management

Qualifications

• Experience with Fluent Commerce OMS, fluent rules/workflows/events/APIs.
• Strong backend development skills in Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot/Spring MVC/Spring Security/JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices Architecture, patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with API Gateway, orchestration, and asynchronous messaging.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation on Fluent Commerce OMS platform with distributed teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers on best practices.
• Design scalable, secure, highly available applications using Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Define solution architecture, integration patterns, and system designs for enterprise commerce ecosystems.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, estimations and release planning.
• Design and implement integrations between Fluent Commerce, eCommerce platforms, ERP, payment, logistics and third-party systems.
• Ensure coding standards, architecture guidelines and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform RCA and provide long-term solutions.

Experience in Fluent OMS solution design, customization, and implementation. Backend Development Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+. Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate. Experience developing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures. Architecture & Design Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture. Experience with architecture patterns, distributed systems, scalability, resilience, and performance optimization. Knowledge of API Gateway, service orchestration, and asynchronous messaging patterns. Cloud & DevOps Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and API Gateway.
