IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. The Specialist I, Data Governance role is based in Chennai, India (onsite) and partners with business and technology teams to drive governance, data quality, and continuous improvement.

You will influence decisions, deliver measurable outcomes, and help standardize processes across global units, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• Relevant professional experience in data governance.
• Strong domain expertise in enterprise systems and processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and process improvement.
• Experience with global, cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred certifications such as PMP, Scrum, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, SAP.

The Specialist I, Data Governance role supports IFF's global technology organization by delivering outcomes within data governance. This position partners with business and technology stakeholders to drive operational excellence, innovation, governance, and continuous improvement. The role is expected to influence decisions appropriate to its level, solve complex problems, and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
