Job summary

IFF is seeking a Specialist II, Data Governance based in Chennai, onsite. You will drive data governance initiatives within the global technology organization, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to enhance governance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Deliver measurable outcomes, analyze complex challenges, and lead documentation, metrics, and performance reporting. You will influence decisions at your level and support strategic initiatives across functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Science/Business or related field with strong data governance exposure.
  • Relevant professional experience aligned with data governance and enterprise analytics.
  • Strong domain knowledge of enterprise systems, processes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and process improvement practices.
  • Experience using technology tools/platforms to support business objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills.
  • Demonstrated accountability and continuous learning.
  • Preferred certifications such as PMP, Scrum, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, SAP or equivalent.
