Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - F&A with focus on Accounts Payable to ensure accurate accounting, timely processing of invoices, and robust support for audits. You will handle journal entries, AP processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end close across multiple business lines while ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.

The role requires strong knowledge of ERP systems, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
• Experience in accounts payable, journal entries, and monthly close.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, general accounting controls, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Book/review journal entries across balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Process AP invoices and payments; reconcile bank transactions.
• Perform monthly close of AP module and fixed assets accounting; intercompany reconciliation.
• Support auditors with data requests and prepare financial reports.
