Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Chargeback Specialist to join the Global Payment Operations team. The role focuses on managing chargebacks for Circle K's credit card acceptance streams, applying knowledge of payment processing, fraud detection, and reconciliation to reduce losses.

You will develop advanced analytics, build dashboards, and collaborate with internal teams and external issuers, processors, and brands to mitigate chargebacks and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with data analysis background or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in data analytics.
• Experience in end-to-end program management and maintenance.
• Ability to develop documented processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large-scale structured data and develop deep-dive analyses.
• Organize large data sets for insights.
• Develop processes to enhance the chargeback process.
• Provide regular progress and program reporting.
• Build, design, maintain, and automate dashboards and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Accounting, Retail Systems, Issuers, Processors).

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., (ACT) is a global Fortune 200 company. A leader in the convenience store and fuel space, it has footprint across 31 countries and territories. The Chargeback Specialist will be a key player in Global Payment Operations team that will help grow payment analytics globally at ACT.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the chargebacks for all streams of Circle K credit card acceptance.

This role will require an understanding of payment processing, fraud detection, and reconciliation, as well as the ability to work closely with various internal and external groups to mitigate and prevent future chargebacks

About the role

This candidate will also provide advanced analytics used to decrease chargebacks with driving process enhancements by researching and interpreting trends, solving various data and analytic needs, conducting exploratory data analysis, and creation of polished deliverables.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a background with history of data analysis, or equivalent work experience
