Responsibilities

• Achieve savings targets and KPIs set by SAVW India Management.
• Coordinate with brands for planning and execution of purchasing activities.
• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/strategic activities with the Head.
• Approve Bidder List, issue RFQ, receive quotations, and manage approvals.
• Register new suppliers into B2B system, KSRM & SAP.
• Prepare price comparisons, benchmarking and vendor negotiations.
• Conduct price negotiations with suppliers.
• Support cost-saving initiatives such as localization and alternate sourcing.
• Participate in Sourcing Committee meetings and other decision forums.
• Approve topics with Head and Globe within approved limits.
• Prepare Purchase Orders in KSRM and SAP and send to suppliers.
• Handle Purchase Order change management.
• Liaise with Users, Finance for supplier issues.
• Adhere to SAVW India and VW Group processes and procedures.
• Escalate issues to the respective Head.

• 1. Work as Buyer for marketing services, event buying, consultancy, merchandise, media buying, hotels and other miscellaneous services related to sales and marketing.
• 2. Responsible to steer, monitor and develop new supplier for competitive bidding and sustainable business growth / development.
• 3. Must be able to work within the defined process and systems and should be able to work together with the team / team leader for improvement / betterment of process, if any.
• 4. Buyer member should be strong in cross functional co-ordination and alignment to fulfil organizational goals of timely cost-efficient supplier onboarding.
• 5. Support and prepare status reports for Department Head.
• 6. Ensure accurate information in all reports and communications.
• 7. Represent General Purchasing for the specific items, wherever necessary

Primary Responsibilities:

• 1. Achieve savings targets and KPIs established by SAVW India Management and VW Group Board as applicable.
• 2. Coordinate & work with various brands for the effective planning & execution of purchasing activities.
• 3. Preparation and monitoring of daily / weekly / strategic activities independently and along with the respective Head.
• 4. Timely approval of Bidders List, send RFQ, receive quotations, organize technical approvals and Shopping cart.
• 5. Get the new suppliers registered into B2B system, KSRM & SAP (documentation, follow up etc.)
• 6. Prepare price comparisons, benchmarking and plan the price negotiation (internal reviews, benchmarking, strategy etc.).
• 7. Prepare and conduct price negotiations with the suppliers.
• 8. Support the cost saving initiatives- localization, alternate sourcing etc.
• 9. Preparation and participation in Applicable Sourcing Committee SAmeetings and other decision-making forums.
• 10. Approval of relevant topics from respective Head and Globe (as per the approved limits).
• 11. Prepare Purchase Orders in KSRM and SAP and take necessary approvals. Accordingly send to the Suppliers
• 12. Handle Purchase Order change management.
• 13. Liasioning with Users, Finance etc. for Supplier related issues.
• 14. Adherence to the SAVW India and / or VW Group processes and procedures (wherever applicable).
• 15. Timely escalation of the issues (if any) to the respective Head
