Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services invites applications for SPE, SME and TL roles (team lead 2 years exp on paper mandatory) across Noida and Hyderabad. We have 40 openings, including 10 TLs, with immediate to 30 days notice.

Work is night shift with WFO. The roles involve Property & Casualty underwriting, risk assessment and regulatory compliance, plus end‑to‑end policy handling in Guidewire PolicyCenter. Interview process includes two technical rounds (one F2F).

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance principles and coverages.
• Experience in risk assessment using claims and exposure data.
• Knowledge of state-specific insurance regulations.
• Ability to classify business risk across industries.
• Experience with policy administration and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Handle moderately complex transactions with guidance in P&C endorsements.
• Support new joiners by sharing process knowledge.
• Perform self-checks and ensure quality before submission.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Manage workload to meet daily and peak volume requirements.
• Coordinate with QA or support teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Show flexibility to handle multiple queues or process variations.

SME/TL- Underwriter Property & Casualty Insurance

We are seeking an experienced P&C Underwriting professional at the Senior Process Executive or Subject Matter Expert level with the following demonstrated expertise:

• Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance principles, coverages, and underwriting best practices across commercial lines
• Proven experience in risk assessment and evaluation of property exposures, structural damages, loss ratios, and historical claims data to support defensible underwriting decisions
• Strong working knowledge of state-specific insurance regulations, ensuring policy compliance across multiple jurisdictions throughout the full policy lifecycle
• Ability to conduct thorough business risk classification across diverse industry verticals, applying consistent underwriting guidelines to maintain portfolio quality and profitability
• Hands-on proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter, with demonstrated experience managing end-to-end policy administration including submissions, issuance, endorsements, and renewals
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex risk data, exercise sound judgment, and contribute to underwriting strategy and governance frameworks
