Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on operational support for monitoring Appian and Celonis platforms.
• Provide Grafana engineering and configuration support from Appian and Celonis platforms.
• Provide backup support for Appian and Celonis platforms.
• Collaborate closely with monitoring teams.
• Transform raw operational, telemetry, and business process data into actionable, high-performance dashboards and proactive alerting workflows using Grafana.
• Build and standardize an automated framework using Nobl9 to measure real-world user experience, protect error budgets, and automate reliability alerts.
• Provide secondary operational support to maintain high availability, performance, and rapid incident remediation across Appian Cloud and Celonis environments (Dev, Test, Stage, Prod).
• Collaborating closely with technology partners (e.g., Appian, Celonis, AWS) to manage licensing, roadmaps, and support escalation paths.
• Drive global operational excellence collaborating with cross-functional technical teams including; Product, Platform Engineering, Application Operations and Infrastructure groups.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Specialist Platform Engineer - BPM Platforms (Grafana/Appian) to join our HAI Platform Operations group within the Digital Platform Services group under the Global Technology Organization.

As the Specialist, Appian/Grafana Platform Operations (R2) , you will deliver dedicated, hands-on operational support for our enterprise Appian platform, with a focus on monitoring ensuring high performance, stability, and data reliability across the organization. You will take the lead on critical configuration and deployment activities within both the Appian and Celonis Process Modeling (CPM) environments, ensuring seamless operation. Operating with significant day-to-day autonomy under broad supervision, you will also expand your technical scope by providing valuable back-up support for our enterprise Celonis platform. You will collaborate closely with Appian and Celonis engineering and Appian application teams, to troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain robust, high-performing platform capabilities that drive digital efficiency.

What will you do in this role

What Should you have:

• Hands on practical experience with Grafana and Nobl9.
• Familiarity with Appian platform and Celonis CPM or Symbio administration.
• Practical experience with public cloud platforms, Preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Networking, Compute, storage and Security.
• Familiarity with Python scripting language.

Preferred:

• Experience with Celonis Cloud platform (EMS/CPM).
