Job summary

Vivo India in Gurugram is seeking a results-driven Spare Parts Planning Specialist to forecast and manage spare part requirements across SVC/state levels. You will coordinate with state teams to prevent shortages and overstock, ensuring optimal stock levels for fast-moving and critical parts at every service center.

You will monitor Minimum Stock Level compliance, track consumption vs availability, escalate risks early, and publish regular reports.

Responsibilities

• Forecast spare part requirements at state level based on failure trends, model volume, and historical consumption.
• Coordinate with state teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure optimal stock levels of fast-moving and critical spare parts at all service centers.
• Monitor MSL (Minimum Stock Level) compliance and take corrective action for gaps.
• Track daily/weekly spare part consumption versus availability.
• Escalate risks of shortages proactively to avoid service delays.
• Analyse pending cases due to spare part shortages.
• Constant communication with state teams to manage and discuss customer complaints / D-satisfaction etc.
• Drive closure plans for high-aging cases and reduce repeat visits caused by part unavailability.
• Manage permanent shortage parts and obsolete models as per policy (replacement/repair/others).
• Support approvals for alternate solutions where applicable.
• Publish regular reports on spare part availability, shortages, aging, and SVC-wise performance.
• Train SVC teams on spare part processes, MSL maintenance, and correct CRM updates.
• Address gaps in process adherence.
