Job summary

USHA International in Gurugram seeks a Senior Parts Planner to manage end-to-end spare parts planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, and distribution across NDCs, warehouses, ASCs, and service locations.

You will lead demand planning, procurement, safeguarding availability, optimize stock, reduce ageing inventory, run PSV twice a year, and drive SAP/ERP data accuracy and MIS reporting, collaborating cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, finance, IT, and service teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Spare Parts Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Distribution.
• Understanding of forecasting, safety stock, lead time, and lifecycle.
• Experience with SAP/ERP and MS Excel; BI dashboards a plus.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and translate into decisions.
• Experience MIS, reporting, process improvement, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead spare parts demand planning for NPD and existing models.
• Drive spare procurement planning, PO/PI tracking and supplier commitments.
• Ensure timely availability and distribution of critical spares across locations.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels considering service, lead time, costs.
• Reduce excess, ageing, slow/non-moving, obsolete inventory via transfers/disposal.
• Lead Pan-India PSV twice annually; ensure accuracy and closure of discrepancies.
• Monitor PGR, supply, distribution, and service-level adherence; address gaps.
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, reviews covering availability, consumption, procurement.
• Drive SAP/ERP/CRM/BI data accuracy, process standardization, digitization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, IT, NDCs, ASCs to resolve issues.

Job description

Role & responsibilities :

To manage end-to-end spare parts planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, and distribution to ensure optimum spare availability across NDCs, warehouses, ASCs, and service locations. The role will be responsible for supply planning, inventory optimization, shortage management, distribution efficiency, and continuous process improvement to support service requirements and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead spare parts demand planning for NPD and existing models based on consumption, installed base, service requirements, lead time, seasonality, and product lifecycle.
• Drive spare procurement planning, including new spare-code creation, PO/PI tracking, supplier commitments, domestic/import supply coordination, and shortage resolution.
• Ensure timely availability and distribution of critical/Class-A & Class-B spares across NDCs, warehouses, ASCs, and service locations.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels considering service availability, consumption, lead time, working capital, and carrying cost.
• Drive reduction of excess, ageing, slow/non-moving, obsolete, blocked, and defective inventory through transfers, RTV, disposal, de-kitting, and other approved actions.
• Lead Pan-India Physical Stock Verification (PSV) twice annually and ensure inventory accuracy and timely closure of discrepancies.
• Monitor PGR, supply, distribution, and service-level adherence and proactively address gaps.
• Prepare and present MIS, dashboards, inventory reviews, supply reviews, and management reports covering availability, consumption, inventory, procurement, supply gaps, and distribution.
• Drive SAP/ERP/CRM/BI data accuracy, process standardization, digitization, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Service, Finance, IT, NDCs, and ASCs to resolve operational issues and achieve business objectives.

Candidate Profile / Functional Skills

• Strong experience in Spare Parts Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Distribution.
• Good understanding of demand forecasting, inventory norms, safety stock, MSL, lead time, and inventory rationalization.
• Experience in procurement/supplier coordination and domestic/import supply management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP and MS Excel/data analytics; experience with BI dashboards will be an advantage.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and convert them into actionable business decisions.
• Strong experience in MIS, reporting, process improvement, and automation.
• Good understanding of warehouse, logistics, PSV, and inventory-control processes.
• Strong cross-functional coordination, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
