Job summary

The Ibnii invites applications for a Spa Executive to support the Spa & Wellness Department, ensuring luxury guest experiences in sustainable hospitality standards. You will assist with reservations, treatments, sales, and coordination with Front Office and Reservations to maximize spa bookings.

Ideal candidates will promote Ayurveda and wellness services while maintaining top hygiene and presentation standards within a luxury resort setting in Coorg.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, understand their wellness preferences, and provide detailed information about spa services, Ayurveda therapies, treatments, facilities and amenities.
• Assist guests in selecting appropriate treatments and wellness experiences based on their preferences and requirements
• Manage spa and wellness reservations, appointments and daily treatment schedules efficiently
• Confirm guest details, treatment bookings and special requirements before commencement of services
• Coordinate therapist allocation and treatment-room availability and monitor treatment timings
• Communicate last-minute bookings, cancellations or schedule changes to therapists and concerned team members
• Resolve appointment and scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth Spa & Wellness operations
• Actively promote and sell Spa, Ayurveda and Wellness services, packages and relevant products
• Drive upselling and cross-selling of treatments, services and products to contribute towards Spa & Wellness revenue
• Engage with in-house resort guests and identify opportunities to convert enquiries into spa bookings
• Build strong guest relationships, encourage repeat treatments and provide personalized recommendations while maintaining a non-intrusive luxury-service approach
• Work towards departmental sales and revenue targets and contribute ideas for improving spa footfall and treatment conversion
• Coordinate effectively with Front Office, Reservations and other operational departments to promote Spa & Wellness offerings. Maintain guest treatment preferences, booking details and other operational records accurately.
• Monitor spa products, oils, amenities, linen, consumables and operational supplies; prepare requisitions and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Inspect spa reception, treatment rooms, equipment and guest areas to ensure established operational and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering regarding maintenance and repair requirements within the Spa & Wellness facility
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, grooming and presentation throughout the spa
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures and spa operational standards
• Maintain complete confidentiality of guest information and company/property information
• Coordinate effectively with therapists and other Spa & Wellness team members and participate in daily briefings
• Assist with daily revenue reports, sales records, treatment reports and other departmental MIS as required
• Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally and escalation matters where necessary
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Spa Manager / Department Head based on operational requirements.
