Job summary

Accuspeed Engineering Services is seeking an experienced SP3D Modeller in Noida for 5+ years of hands-on Hexagon Smart 3D modelling. You will develop and update 3D models for equipment, piping, and structures, ensuring alignment with P&IDs and drawings.

Role requires coordinating with Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams to resolve clashes and deliver accurate isometrics and drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with SP3D and EPC/Oil & Gas projects preferred.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, piping layouts and equipment drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D models using Hexagon Smart 3D (SP3D) based on project requirements and engineering inputs.
• Create and update equipment, piping, structural and associated 3D models.
• Prepare models in accordance with approved P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications and engineering drawings.
• Ensure proper piping routing, equipment arrangement, accessibility and constructability within the 3D model.
• Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams to resolve model-related clashes and interface issues.
• Perform model reviews and clash checks and incorporate comments from engineering/client review.
• Generate relevant isometrics, drawings, MTOs and reports from the 3D model as required.
• Maintain model accuracy and ensure compliance with project standards, specifications and design requirements.
• Participate in 3D model review meetings and coordinate with the project engineering team.
• Identify and resolve modelling issues within the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Hexagon Smart 3D (SP3D).
• Good knowledge of Piping Modelling and 3D Plant Design.
• Experience in equipment modelling, piping routing and structural modelling.
• Ability to understand P&IDs, piping layouts, equipment drawings and engineering documents.
• Knowledge of clash detection and 3D model review.
• Good understanding of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical / EPC projects.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with 5+ years of relevant SP3D modelling experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery or Process Plant projects will be preferred.
