The SOX Manager assists the leadership in defining the control objectives and monitoring
compliance efforts. The SOX Manager act as the L2 and will review test findings within the
Internal/External Audit Team, facilitate the remediation of control gaps, and escalade possible
critical issues to the senior management of the company.
The SOX Manager also identifies areas of potential improvement for key processes and
procedures and supports the management of the related processes and procedures. He is
responsible for working with different business owners on implementation, execution and
compliance with entity level controls.
Profile Description
- The SOX manager is responsible for working with different business owners on implementation, execution and compliance with entity level controls.
- The SOX Manager being the L2 evaluates the review and analyzes data pertaining to information systems functions.
- Coordinate with the Company Financial Control Risk (FCR) Director and Managers to assign SOX Controls Testing work to Supplier resources.
- Monitor and manage progress of test of controls as per the assigned controls to Supplier Team.
- Provide periodic updates to the Company FCR Director and Managers on progress of test work assigned and any potential delays.
- Ensure L1 Reviews are performed by Supplier for all test work papers assigned to Supplier and submit work papers to L2 Review to be performed by the Company.
- Ensure that L2 Review comments are addressed by Supplier resources.
- Attend Project Governance meetings and provide updates to the Company as required on periodic basis.
- Identify and analysis control issues or changes in company process for potential implications.

Desired Experience and Skillset
- Having Over 12 years of relevant experience holding MBA/CA/CFEs, CIAs, or CISA plus degree (preferred)
- Leading a skilled group of risk consulting professionals and be proficient with the broad range of skills of managing people, ensuring client satisfaction, business development.
- Providing value-based solutions and applying technical knowledge in delivery of complex solutions to clients. Providing recommendation on macro and strategic issues to the client.
