Job summary

GRT Hotels & Resorts seeks a South Indian Chef with deep expertise in regional cuisines from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka. You will lead menu planning, recipe development, portion control and cost management to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You should hold a recognized culinary qualification and have prior experience in a high-volume hotel or restaurant kitchen, delivering quality while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.

• Strong expertise in South Indian cuisine across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka.
• Proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, portion control and cost management.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• Relevant culinary qualification or certification from a recognized hotel management or culinary institute.
• Previous experience as a South Indian Chef or in a similar role within a reputable hospitality establishment.
