HR Innovation Group in Nashik is seeking a Sourcing Vendor Development & Quality Development Engineer (Buyer Role) with 5+ years of experience in investment casting, stainless steel fabrication, CNC machining, HMC operations, and CMM inspection.

You will lead supplier sourcing, vendor development, procurement, and quality assurance, interpret technical drawings, and travel for supplier audits and inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, vendor development and procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience in investment casting, SS fabrication, CNC machining, HMC, and CMM inspection.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for investment casting, SS fabrication, CNC, and HMC components.

• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Sourcing Vendor Development & Quality Development Engineer (Buyer Role) with 5+ years of experience in investment casting, stainless steel (SS) fabrication, CNC machining, HMC operations, and CMM inspection.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in supplier sourcing, vendor development, procurement, and quality assurance, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings. The role requires frequent travel for supplier audits, inspections, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 1. Supplier Sourcing & Vendor Development
   • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for investment casting, SS fabrication, CNC, and HMC machining components
   • Assess vendor capabilities, quality systems, and process efficiency
   • Develop supplier improvement plans based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
   • Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers
2. 2. Quality Development & Compliance
   • Conduct quality inspections using CMM for machined and fabricated components
   • Ensure compliance with technical drawings, GD&T, and ISO standards
   • Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and corrective/preventive actions
   • Maintain records of quality reports, audits, and NCRs
3. 3. Procurement & Buyer Responsibilities
   • Manage procurement of investment casting, SS fabricated, CNC, and HMC machined parts
   • Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for requirement alignment
   • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms
   • Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery
4. 4. Technical Drawing Interpretation
   • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications
   • Validate manufacturing feasibility and support supplier process approvals
   • Ensure parts meet dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and material specifications
5. 5. Supplier Coordination & Travel
   • Visit supplier facilities for audits, inspections, and technical discussions
   • Ensure adherence to company quality and production standards
   • Resolve supplier-related manufacturing and process issues
