Job summary

Flowserve India Controls Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to manage end-to-end sourcing for assigned Sites and Business Units. You will execute RFQ/RFP processes, identify suppliers, conduct bid evaluations, and negotiate terms to align with Flowserve’s sourcing strategy.

The role focuses on cost reduction, supplier performance, and adherence to quality, delivery, and compliance requirements. Travel Maybe required for development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or sourcing.
• At least 1 year of direct sourcing and supplier-negotiation experience.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection activities.
• Knowledge of SAP and Ariba sourcing tools; understanding of commercial terms and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing events through approved system workflows for Sites and Business Units.
• Manage the complete RFQ/RFP process, including supplier identification, bid evaluation, negotiation, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery, quality, and contractual requirements with suppliers.
• Finalize and maintain agreements such as price lists and teaming agreements in ERP and sourcing systems.
• Ensure compliance with global category strategies, including engagement with preferred and partner suppliers.
• Initiate and expedite new supplier onboarding or supplier master changes through the MDG-Supplier process.
• Identify supplier and supply-chain risks and escalate through appropriate channels.
• Support Commercial Operations with supply-chain quotations for tender and bid activities.
• Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, procedures, safety requirements, and sourcing guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing.
• At least 1 year of direct sourcing and supplier-negotiation experience.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and supplier selection activities.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and sourcing tools such as Ariba.
• Understanding of commercial terms, contracts, supplier management, and market dynamics.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional certification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel or relocate for development opportunities, as required.
