Job Summary

Flowserve seeks a Buyer to help achieve team goals by securing subcontracted components and services under the best price, quality, and delivery conditions, in line with the global Supply Chain Team’s recommendations. You will develop and implement purchasing strategies, support the Commercial Operations team on advance procurement in engineered markets, and strengthen alignment of purchasing with business strategy. You own the supplier portfolio and work closely with the supply team to improve delivery.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Execute Just in Time principles for all material needed for facility projects.
• Negotiate best prices and commercial terms to maximize profit.
• Support service centers at the customer quotation stage to secure competitive pricing and delivery terms.
• Track orders to ensure on‑time delivery for external suppliers and intercompany orders.
• Proactively resolve import‑process issues and coordinate solutions for contractual deliveries.
• Set up supply agreements with key suppliers for preferential pricing and delivery.
• Review stock levels to maintain optimal inventory on site.
• Assume any other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency in purchasing techniques.
• Understanding of technical requirements and quality for products at the purchasing level.
• Fluency in English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement areas: negotiations, supplier evaluation and development, supplier quality, logistics, etc.
• Knowledge of market requirements.
• Global and strategic negotiating skills.
• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
