Job summary

Pratibha Syntex Ltd. is seeking a Fabric Sourcing Executive – Corporate to lead sourcing of man-made fibre fabrics from domestic and international mills, ensuring cost competitiveness and reliable delivery.

You will develop supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms, monitor quality, and coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Production, and Commercial teams to fulfill bulk requirements and sustain supply streams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fabric sourcing or textile industry.
• 5+ years in man-made fibre fabrics.
• Experience with domestic and international mills and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop man-made fibre fabrics from domestic and international mills.
• Identify new suppliers and fabric developments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with fabric mills, processors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Production and Commercial teams.
• Monitor fabric quality, delivery performance, and supplier reliability.
• Develop alternate sourcing options to improve cost competitiveness.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing and delivery performance.
• Track market trends and raw material prices.
• Support cost optimization and ensure quality and delivery.

About the Role

The Fabric Sourcing Executive – Corporate will be responsible for sourcing and developing man-made fibre-based fabrics, including knitted and woven fabrics, from domestic and international markets. The role involves supplier development, commercial negotiations, fabric development, quality and delivery monitoring, and coordination with internal teams to ensure competitive and reliable fabric sourcing.

Responsibilities:

• Source and develop man-made fibre and blended fabrics from domestic and international mills and suppliers
• Identify new suppliers, fabric developments, and sourcing opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with fabric mills, processors, and suppliers
• Handle commercial negotiations related to pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, and other commercial conditions
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Quality, Production, Commercial, and other internal teams for fabric development and bulk requirements
• Monitor fabric quality, delivery performance, lead times, and supplier reliability
• Develop alternate sourcing options to improve cost competitiveness and reduce sourcing risks
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, quality standards, and delivery performance
• Track market trends, yarn/raw material prices, and new developments in synthetic and man-made fibre fabrics
• Support cost optimization and ensure competitive sourcing without compromising quality and delivery requirements
• Maintain supplier, sourcing, costing, and fabric development records and reports
• Ensure timely availability of fabrics as per development and bulk production requirements

Qualifications :

• Diploma in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related discipline
• B.Tech / B.E. in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering will be preferred
• Candidates with strong and relevant industry experience may also be considered

Experience :

• Minimum 10 years of overall experience in fabric sourcing or the textile industry
• Minimum 5 years of specific experience in man-made fibre-based fabrics
• Strong exposure to fabric mills, processors, and suppliers across India
• Experience in overseas fabric sourcing will be preferred

Required Skills :

• Sound knowledge of polyester, viscose, nylon, and other man-made fibre blends
• Strong understanding of knitted and woven fabric construction and specifications
• Good knowledge of fabric processing, quality parameters, and costing
• Strong supplier identification, development, and management skills
• Good commercial negotiation and cost optimization skills
• Strong understanding of domestic and international fabric markets
• Ability to assess supplier capabilities and manage sourcing risks
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Strong market intelligence and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing requirements and work effectively with cross-functional teams
