What would you do?
Sourcing involves identifying and acquiring goods and services needed by an organization. This role includes researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. It also involves evaluating the quality and cost-effectiveness of products and services. The goal is to ensure the organization obtains the best value while meeting its procurement needs efficiently. Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.
What are we looking for?
- Responsible for executing complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories, translating business requirements into clear statements of work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions.
- Sourcing of external vendors.
- Floating RFQ.
- Creating comparatives / negotiations with suppliers for the best price.
- Enable cost saving via spot buy / sourcing projects.
- Maintain client data protection standards.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent Excel knowledge.
- Quick learning & full usage of project specific tools and templates.
- Education: Graduation any stream.
- Good computer literacy (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in purchasing or supply chain with strong project management skills & knowledge on Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, ERP/P2P systems (RQ).
- Purchase goods or services that meet quantity and quality expectations of the organization.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.
- Track inventory and restock goods when needed.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products.
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.

- Execute complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories, including translating business requirements into clear statements of work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions.
- Prepare negotiation scripts and negotiate with suppliers, make recommendations, help onboard, qualify and contract with new vendors, and ensure compliance.
- Engage with internal & external partners to ensure decisions are based on the broad scope of the organization and achieve optimum daily execution.
- Monitor performance satisfaction, ensuring all SLAs are met and drive continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in recruitment.
- Sourcing experience in a middle sized or large procurement operations is relevant.
