Job summary

OWND!-Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited seeks a procurement and sourcing professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier development, and cost-optimization initiatives. You will collaborate with Design, Planning, and Buying teams to ensure timely product development and compliant supplier performance.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, risk management, and market-responsive sourcing to support Fast Fashion timelines and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Sustainability: Implement and adhere to long-term sourcing and sustainability strategies that align with organizational growth, profitability, and environmental/social goals.
• Vendor Management & Development: Identify, onboard, and manage strategic vendor partners; drive vendor consolidation and ensure capacity utilization, compliance, and capability development.
• Cost & Margin Optimization: Lead season-on-season cost negotiations and margin improvement initiatives, including driving PCMRP goals and end-to-end cost visibility.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Design, Category, Planning, Buying, and Technical teams to ensure alignment on product development, approvals, and timelines.
• Product Development & Sampling: Drive the sample-to-tech pack process, ensuring timely fit approvals, PP meetings, fabric inwards, and sample readiness for buying decisions.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, Ways of Working, and weekly ORMs; implement sourcing policies based on international best practices.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Identify key sourcing risks and develop mitigation plans; ensure vendor compliance with quality, social, and environmental standards.
• Order Management & Execution: Ensure timely PO creation, manage daily PO-related issues, and maintain visibility over production and shipment timelines.
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Track vendor performance across key KPIs; provide structured feedback, drive corrective actions, and foster continuous improvement.
