Job summary

Namshi, the leading online fashion and beauty destination in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Sourcing Leader based in India to manage sourcing activities across India and China, with regular travel to China. The role requires building supplier portfolios, negotiating terms, and expanding supplier partnerships to support product quality and faster time-to-market.

You'll work closely with Product Development and Supply Chain teams, manage multi-country suppliers, and drive cost savings

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in sourcing, buying and supply chain.
• Experience in fashion retail or e-commerce.
• Private Label experience.
• Multi-country supplier management—China and India must.
• Experience working with cross-border teams.
• Proven supplier network in India and China.
• Experience building sourcing strategies.
• Track record of delivering cost savings without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Expand and diversify our supplier base by identifying, onboarding, and developing new suppliers across India and China.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers to increase sourcing capacity and reduce supplier concentration.
• Continuously identify new sourcing opportunities that improve product quality, speed to market, and commercial competitiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, and production capacity with suppliers.
• Evaluate and onboard suppliers based on quality, compliance, capability, cost, and delivery performance.
• Partner closely with Product Development and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth execution from development through production.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep up to date with market trends, raw material developments, and sourcing opportunities across both India and China.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should be based in India while also having an established supplier portfolio in China. The person will be responsible for managing sourcing activities across both India and China ( and other countries ), including regular travel to China to develop supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities.
