Parker Hannifin in Hyderabad seeks a senior procurement professional to lead direct and indirect material sourcing with a focus on uninterrupted production and supplier collaboration.

You will manage PO issuance, vendor coordination, and price/term implementations, while driving Lean and ISO-aligned processes across the team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counselling, mentoring and development.
• On time issue of Orders and follow up for on-time delivery.
• Assess and document lead times of suppliers.
• Maintain procurement data in JDE.
• Automate processes to support Lean practices.
• Ensure JIT procurement and continuous production with direct/indirect materials.
• Coordinate with warehouse team effectively.
• Procure Direct and Indirect materials per PFEP/ePFEP design.
• Follow ISO and drive team improvements boards.
• Analyze purchases based on price trends and comparisons.
• Submit monthly/annual reports to Division and Corporate.
• Lead the team in saving initiatives and report PCI savings.
• Participate in monthly review meetings for HPt projects.

Position Summary

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Direct and Indirect material support for Uninterrupted production

WADPO payment terms to supplier

Total of Line Items Shipped Complete by Suppliers (SLISC)

C2A. (Saving from direct and indirect materials)

Responsible for executing procurement activities in line with approved supplier sourcing decisions, including raising purchase orders, coordinating with vendors for order confirmation and delivery, supporting price and payment term implementation, and ensuring compliance with approvals from the Division Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities

Main Duties

• Provide leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counselling, retaining, mentoring, training, performance management, talent management, and individual development.
• On time issue of Orders on Supplier and rigorous follow up for On time Delivery
• Assess and document lead times of suppliers
• Have all data points related to procurement set in JDE
• Automize processes to support Lean practices
• Ensure JIT procurement and continuous running of all production requirements by supporting with Direct and Indirect materials.
• Coordinate with warehouse team effectively.
• Ensure all Direct and Indirect materials are procured as per PFEP / ePFEP design
• Ensure the lean activities and ISO system to be followed in the department and daily update of Team improvement boards.
• Analyse and approve purchases based on commodity price trend and comparison statement submitted.
• Monitor and submit monthly or annual reports required by the Division and Corporate after proper verification. Lead the team to “ call to action “saving and submit the reports to corporate monthly.
• Participate monthly review meetings with team for HPT projects and monitor the projects time base to complete with in a target schedules.
• Successfully implement PH connect buyer side set up in the supplier end and coordinate with the supplier for daily usage of PH connect. To achieve the target of PCI saving from the supplier. Forecast to be provided through PH connect.

Qualifications

Education - Bachelors degree. MBA, or related is preferred

Education – Certifications - Supply chain specific certifications is preferred

Experience - 10 to 15 years’ experience in procurement.
