Job summary

Layam is seeking a candidate to lead Program & Project Management for New Product Development projects from concept to production. You will develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and launch schedules, tracking progress and coordinating cross-functional activities to meet timelines.

You will also support Product Development by translating customer requirements into specifications, facilitating prototype development and validation, and coordinating pilot builds and production readiness

Responsibilities

• Program & Project Management: Manage NPD projects from concept to production, develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and launch schedules, track progress and ensure timelines.
• Product Development: Support design reviews and engineering changes, ensure customer requirements translate into specs, facilitate prototype development and validation.
• Manufacturing & Launch Readiness: Coordinate pilot builds and production trials, ensure readiness before SOP, drive successful product launches (PPAP/PSW as applicable).

• Product Development: Support product design reviews and engineering changes. Ensure customer requirements are translated into product specifications. Facilitate prototype development and validation activities.
• Manufacturing & Launch Readiness: Coordinate pilot builds and production trials. Ensure production readiness before SOP (Start of Production). Drive successful product launches. PPAP & PSW - Sign off

Preferred candidate profile

• Cadidate should have knowledge in NPD (New Product Development) especially in sheet metal parts and its operations.
