Job summary

Ascendion in Bengaluru seeks a Sourcing Consultant to develop negotiation strategies that optimize pricing, service levels, risk allocation, liability protections, and commercial terms, across complex supplier engagements.

You will lead discussions on pricing models, rebates, credits, and SLAs; drive contract execution with Legal, Third Party Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Information Security, and ensure all agreements meet regulatory and procurement requirements.

Qualifications

• SOWs understanding and management.
• Proficiency in third party risk assessment.
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts (MSAs, SOWs, amendments).
• Ability to lead negotiations of supplier agreements and commercial terms.
• Primary commercial negotiator with suppliers and third parties.
• Ability to identify and escalate contractual risks and governance issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions related to pricing models, benchmarking, rebates, credits, service-level commitments, termination rights, and performance obligations.
• Drive contract execution and ensure timely closure of sourcing transactions.
• Partner with Legal, Third Party Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Information Security, and other control functions during contract negotiations.
• Ensure contracts comply with regulatory, legal, risk, and procurement requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Third Party Risk
• Contract Negotiation & Management
• Lead negotiations of supplier agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), amendments, renewals, and commercial contracts.
• Serve as the primary commercial negotiator with suppliers and third parties.
• Risk & Governance
• Escalate and resolve contractual and commercial risks that could impact supplier relationships or business objectives.
