  • At least 50% of experience should be in managing global client stakeholders and global suppliers (for India). Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
  • Knowledge of the Category including the external marketplace, key drivers and levers, supply base and balance of power, supplier capabilities and trends
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skillset
  • Expertise in negotiation skills and influencing skills: able to influence business partners and suppliers as well as the ability to be assertive if required to ensure compliance to contract
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong digital analytical and numerical ability
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships working across geographic boundaries and functions
  • A focus on service delivery and savings
  • Preferably IWS / Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Tool’s knowledge e.g., SAP-SD/MM modules, Ariba, Coupa.
  • What are we looking for? Experience Required
  • Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in spending across different categories ie. IT, Logistics, CPS, marketing, etc.
  • Execution of end-to-end sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, category planning, supplier negotiation, techno—commercial evaluation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution, leveraging an Agile approach to drive efficiency in execution.
  • End to end knowledge and experience in E-Auction, reverse e-auction sourcing process and strategy.
  • Provide industry and supplier research, market intelligence and financial analyses.
  • Pursue and develop stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
  • Support Category Strategy development to identify project opportunities that achieve client goals and mature their procurement function.
  • Able to help and support on industry best practices with a special emphasis on market trends and insights, commercial structure assessment, negotiation strategies and contracting.
  • Contract life cycle management, including Variations/amendments and closures.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant area
  • CIPS Corporate Diploma in Purchasing and/or membership of The Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply or equivalent country qualification or membership would be an advantage Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Execute sourcing plans in line with global standards and policies
  • Assist and coordinate on global and geographic contract negotiations effectively to deliver robust terms and conditions that manages client’s service delivery and commercial risk that represent value for money
  • Build strong supplier base relationships and manage negotiation and supplier selection within the framework of the category strategies and sourcing strategies
  • Lead global and geographic supplier management and drive geographic continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers in coordination with business functions
  • Monitor contractual performance in accordance with agreed SLAs to identity and resolve issues, escalating as appropriate
  • Ability to understand and communicate the individual category strategy to internal stakeholders
  • Business Continuity plan execution and pro-active risk management.
