Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Management, or Commercial Negotiations.
• Strong hands-on experience in contract and commercial negotiations.
• Experience with technology, software/SaaS, IT services, market data, HR, CPG, or other category contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for MSAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, supplier agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies focused on pricing, service levels, risk allocation, liability protections, and commercial terms.
• Act as the primary commercial negotiator with suppliers and third-party service providers.
• Negotiate pricing models, benchmarking, rebates, credits, SLAs, and termination rights.
• Drive contracts through negotiation to execution and timely closure.
• Review, draft, and redline contractual and commercial terms with stakeholders.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
• Evaluate supplier proposals and develop sourcing recommendations based on commercial, financial, operational, and risk considerations.
• Conduct supplier and market benchmarking to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Support category strategies across technology, software, market data, HR, CPG, and indirect procurement.
• Partner with Legal, Third Party Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Information Security, Procurement, and business teams throughout contracting.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Consultant Contract Negotiations to lead complex supplier negotiations and commercial contracting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, commercial deal structuring, supplier management, and contract risk management, particularly across technology, software, HR, CPG, and market data categories.

The role requires an individual who can independently lead commercial negotiations, develop negotiation strategies, manage contractual risks, and partner effectively with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Information Security, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Negotiation & Management

• Lead negotiations for Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, renewals, supplier agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies focused on pricing, service levels, risk allocation, liability protections, and commercial terms.
• Act as the primary commercial negotiator with suppliers and third-party service providers.
• Negotiate pricing models, benchmarking, rebates, credits, SLAs, service-level commitments, termination rights, payment terms, and performance obligations.
• Drive contracts through negotiation to execution and timely closure.
• Review, draft, and redline contractual and commercial terms in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Strategic Sourcing

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and competitive RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
• Evaluate supplier proposals and develop sourcing recommendations based on commercial, financial, operational, and risk considerations.
• Conduct supplier and market benchmarking to identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
• Support category strategies across technology, software, market data, HR, CPG, and other indirect procurement categories.

Risk & Governance

• Partner with Legal, Third Party Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Information Security, Procurement, and business teams throughout the contracting process.
• Identify, assess, escape, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
• Ensure supplier agreements comply with applicable legal, regulatory, risk, procurement, and governance requirements.
• Resolve contractual issues and commercial disputes while maintaining effective supplier relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Management, or Commercial Negotiations.
• Strong hands-on experience in contract and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating technology, software/SaaS, IT services, market data, HR, CPG, or other category contracts.
• Strong understanding of MSAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, and commercial agreements.
• Experience with contract drafting and redlining.
• Strong understanding of commercial risk, contract law principles, supplier economics, and sourcing best practices.
• Strong experience with pricing analysis, benchmarking, cost optimization, and deal structuring.
• Hands-on experience managing RFx / RFP / RFQ / RFI processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
