Job summary

Verdantas seeks a Solutions Architect to lead Unified Endpoint Management migrations during M&A activities. You will manage end-to-end onboarding, risk assessment, and migration of devices to enterprise standards, ensuring security and governance compliance.

Responsibilities include supporting mergers and acquisitions device onboarding, integrating with Intune/Autopilot, and maintaining documentation for migration runbooks. Strong PowerShell and cross-domain migration experience preferred.

Qualifications

We at Verdantas, looking for Solutions Architect - Unified Endpoint Management to join our team.

This Role will support end-to-end M&A technical migration of endpoint systems — from discovery and risk assessment through coexistence, migration, and stabilization — ensuring alignment with enterprise security, governance, and operational standards while minimizing business disruption. Execute endpoint onboarding, migration, and configuration alignment activities to transition acquired devices from varied environments into enterprise Unified Endpoint Management standards.

Responsibilities:

• Act as primary execution and escalation support for endpoint M&A activities during Senior Solution Architect coverage periods.
• Support endpoint integration activities for mergers and acquisitions, including onboarding and migration of acquired devices into Autopilot and Intune.
• Assist with computer migrations from legacy AD joined, Entra ID joined, and hybrid joined environments into standardized enterprise join and management models.
• Install and validate standard enterprise endpoint tools, including:
• Remote monitoring and management tools (e.g., ConnectWise)
• IT service management agents (e.g., ServiceNow Agent Client Collector)
• Approved endpoint monitoring and support utilities
• Deploy and support migration and directory transition agents, such as Quest ODMAD, following documented procedures and under change control.
• Onboard migrated devices into Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, ensuring sensors are active, reporting is validated, and devices meet security baselines.
• Support coexistence scenarios by assisting with the transition from legacy endpoint management tools to Intune.
• Deploy, update, and maintain approved software packages and configurations for newly migrated users and devices.
• Support application migration and standardization efforts related to M&A activities, including validation of application functionality following device migration.
• Assist with printer onboarding, deployment, and basic print service troubleshooting for newly integrated offices or user populations.
• Troubleshoot endpoint, enrollment, application, and configuration issues related to onboarding and migration; escalation complex issues to senior UEM staff as required.
• Perform device readiness checks, remediation actions, and post‑migration validation activities to ensure compliance and usability.
• Maintain accurate documentation for endpoint migration procedures, join state transitions, and integration runbooks.

Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Intune fundamentals, app deployment basics, endpoint troubleshooting. Understanding of Windows device join states (AD joined, Entra ID joined, hybrid joined)
• Problem Solving: Resolves routine endpoint onboarding, migration, and agent deployment issues independently. Follows documented procedures and escalation paths
• Attention to Detail: Follows standards and change controls.
• Teamwork: Collaborates effectively with UEM Leads, IAM, Security, and Service Desk teams
• Communication: Communicates migration status, tooling readiness, and issues clearly during M&A integration efforts

Note:

Candidate must have experience in cross-domain and cross-tenant endpoint migrations, with ability to move devices (AD / Hybrid / Intune joined) into a target Intune tenant without device wipe/reset, while preserving user profile and data. Hands‑on experience with PowerShell, ProfWiz, and/or Quest ODMAD is preferred.
