Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a highly motivated Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in HP Poly and PeopleLink collaboration solutions. You will design, demonstrate and position enterprise-grade Unified Communications and Hybrid Workplace solutions, while engaging with Sales, OEM partners and customers.

You will lead solution architecture, BOM/sizing documents, and technical proposals, and support RFP/PoC activities with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Must have strong UCC/Collaboration expertise.
• Experience with HP Poly and PeopleLink solutions.
• Ability to design end-to-end video conferencing and hybrid workplaces.
• Proficiency in creating BOMs, sizing docs, and technical proposals.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Consulting: translate customer requirements into collaboration solutions; design end-to-end video conferencing and hybrid workplace setups.
• Customer Engagement: conduct discovery workshops, deliver product demos, and lead PoCs.
• Proposal & Bid Management: respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and craft technical write-ups.
• Technical Expertise: advise on network readiness, QoS, security, and multi-vendor integration.
• Partner & OEM Coordination: liaise with HP Poly, PeopleLink, Microsoft, Zoom, and others; maintain certifications.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in HP Poly and PeopleLink collaboration solutions. The candidate will work closely with Sales, OEM partners, and customers to design, demonstrate, and position enterprise-grade Unified Communications, Video Conferencing, Audio-Visual (AV), and Hybrid Workplace solutions. The role requires strong technical knowledge, solution architecture skills, customer engagement, and proposal management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Consulting Understand customer business requirements and translate them into collaboration and communication solutions. Design end-to-end Video Conferencing, Meeting Room, Board Room, Training Room, and Hybrid Workplace solutions using HP Poly and PeopleLink technologies. Develop solution architectures, BOMs, sizing documents, and technical proposals. Ensure interoperability with: Microsoft Teams Zoom Cisco Webex Google Meet SIP/H.323 environments Support large enterprise, government, education, healthcare, and BFSI customers.
• Customer Engagement Conduct customer discovery workshops and requirement-gathering sessions. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and executive briefings. Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and solution validation activities. Act as a trusted advisor for workplace transformation and collaboration modernization initiatives.
• Proposal & Bid Management Respond to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and tenders. Prepare technical compliance documents and solution write-ups. Create network diagrams, architecture drawings, and implementation approaches. Work closely with OEMs, Partners and internal sales teams to develop winning proposals.
• Technical Expertise Design solutions involving: HP Poly Studio Series Poly X Series Poly G7500 Poly CCX Phones Poly Headsets PeopleLink Video Conferencing Platforms Interactive Flat Panels Digital Signage AV Integration Solutions Provide guidance on network readiness, bandwidth planning, security, and QoS requirements. Troubleshoot interoperability and integration challenges in multi-vendor environments.
• Partner & OEM Coordination Engage with HP Poly, PeopleLink, Microsoft, Zoom, and other technology partners. Maintain product certifications and technical accreditations. Stay updated on emerging UC, AV, AI-powered collaboration, and hybrid workplace technologies.
