Job summary

Artech L.L.C. is seeking a Solutions Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure to lead design and LOE-based pricing for modernization, cloud migration, and managed operations. The role ensures solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and operationally executable.

You will build multi‑cloud architectures, define cost models, and collaborate with Finance and Proposal Factory to align pricing with business goals. Strong emphasis on security, compliance, and observability is required.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in pre‑sales or solution design.
• Proven multi‑cloud design, migrations, and managed services (IaaS, PaaS, Security).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications highly desirable: AWS SA‑Professional, Azure SA Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or TOGAF.
• Solid grasp of FinOps, automation (Terraform/Ansible), and Zero Trust frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures including migration, NOC/SOC, and DR/BCP.
• Build LOE models and pricing estimates for cloud and infrastructure services (engineering, monitoring, support).
• Define role mix, effort by tower (Cloud, Network, Security), and service‑level cost impacts.
• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, Finance, and Proposal Factory for RFP pricing.
• Develop reusable cost models, SLA‑based templates, and TCO calculators.
• Ensure designs meet client security, compliance, and reliability requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures including migration, NOC/SOC, and DR/BCP.
• Build detailed LOE models and pricing estimates for cloud and infrastructure services (engineering, monitoring, support).
• Define role mix, effort by tower (Cloud, Network, Security), and service-level cost impacts.
• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, Finance, and Proposal Factory for RFP pricing.
• Develop reusable cost models, SLA-based effort templates, and TCO calculators.
• Ensure designs meet client security, compliance, and reliability requirements.

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of cloud and infra operations cost drivers (compute, network, security).
• Experience in effort estimation and pricing for managed services.
• Proficiency in IaaS/PaaS (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, CNAPP, SOC/NOC operations, and observability tooling.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and presentation ability.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 12–18 years in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in pre‑sales or solution design.

  • CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or TOGAF (for network/security architecture)
• Solid grasp of FinOps, automation (Terraform/Ansible), and Zero Trust frameworks.

• Proficient in building and maintaining LOE estimation templates.
• Comfortable translating delivery assumptions into pricing‑ready models for Finance and Sales.
• Partner closely with Proposal Factory for rate validation and margin alignment.
• Able to support both pre‑sales and delivery transition activities seamlessly.
• Strong commercial acumen; ability to connect architecture to financial outcomes.
• Exceptional client‑facing and presentation skills; confident in orals and technical workshops.
• Familiarity with proposal and SOW documentation standards.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or architects.
