Your Role

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements and provide inputs to BA capturing requirement (e.g., requirement scoping clarification).
  • Participate in the technical design and prepare solution proposals for Cards work stream.
  • Work closely with Cards Architect or other domain Architects to align the cards solution with the architecture framework.
  • Collaborate with other solution analysts/SMEs including retail product IT application teams, Infrastructure, Data, Digital, Risk, Security and Software to align the solution.
  • Own the cards solution and act as a solution funnel to discuss with IT teams involved.
  • Plan and create solution proposals; sequence diagrams; maintain interface tracker to answer business requirements and ensure the solution is compliant with agreed architecture.
  • Participate in business discussions with BA to clarify the requirement scope and explain the solution to the business.
  • Bridge between cross-functional IT teams to resolve conflicts.
  • Technically lead the development team to ensure delivery of the highest quality and drive adoption of best practices.
  • Identify functional and technical dependencies across propositions, teams and platforms; identify risks and issues and highlight to Cards Programmer with mitigation plans as applicable.
  • Cover Cards processing stages (Issuing, Authorization & Settlement); knowledge and experience of industry standards.
  • Produce Solution Proposals; review designs produced by Engineering teams using provided guidance and patterns.
  • Validate that solutions align to the Bank’s strategies (e.g., Retail & Corporate Cards & Group).
  • Work with the engineering community to deliver solutions primarily in an agile way; domain-driven design with knowledge of API & microservice architecture.
  • Define As-Is & Target Architecture; define services & integrated applications; work with stakeholders to deliver objectives & roadmaps.
  • Balance business requirements with functional & technical strategy to deliver sustainable solutions; drive change with practical architectures aligned to IT principles and governance.
  • Collaborate and communicate concepts, challenge and influence a diverse set of stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Plan and organize with multiple projects; maintain a flexible, proactive attitude and ability to learn fast.
