Job summary

Testsigma, a GenAI-powered, low-code test automation platform, seeks a Solution Engineer in Bengaluru to partner with enterprise customers on QA and automation strategy. You will lead test automation initiatives across Web and Mobile, design scalable frameworks, and mentor teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in QA, hands-on automation with Selenium or Appium, API testing experience, and familiarity with CI/CD tools.

Role Summary

The Solution Engineer will act as a strategic QA and Test Automation partner for enterprise customers. This role requires strong hands-on experience in automation, along with the ability to drive quality initiatives, mentor teams, and manage customer relationships. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality releases, optimizing automation strategies, and delivering value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary QA and automation point of contact for enterprise customers
• Drive end-to-end test automation strategy and implementation across projects
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks
• Lead test planning, execution, and reporting across Web, Android, and iOS platforms
• Monitor test runs, analyze failures, and provide root cause analysis with actionable insights
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal teams to ensure smooth releases
• Proactively communicate updates, risks, and mitigation plans
• Optimize automation coverage, execution efficiency, and overall QA processes
• Mentor junior solution engineers and provide technical guidance
• Handle escalations, critical issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Contribute to best practices, reusable frameworks, and internal knowledge bases
• Understand and support the integration of automated test cases into customer CI/CD pipelines based on project requirements

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing and QA
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation (Web & Mobile)
• Good experience in automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or similar)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, test design techniques, and QA methodologies
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and customer engagements effectively
• Experience in handling escalations and driving resolution independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools (preferably Testsigma)
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms
• Basic knowledge of programming and scripting languages
