Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and architects to define test strategies and quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, UI, and API testing.
• Execute manual test cases when necessary and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions or similar).
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
• Evaluate and recommend automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent.
• Apply data structures and efficient coding practices to optimize test scripts and data handling.
• Document, track, and report defects using bug tracking tools.
• Manage test data, environments, and version-controlled automation code repositories (Git).
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Define, capture, and report quality metrics and test results.

Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong proficiency in automation tools: Selenium*, Playwright*, Appium, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data structures and their application in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Requirements

• BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
• JMeter for performance / load testing
• Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance including writing manual tests and execution
• Exposure to functional automation framework implementation and hands‑on coding
• Exposure to AZURE dev ops, CI/CD integration
• Exposure to following technologies: RDMS, SQL, *nix, windows, XML and Java
• Strong foundation in various SDLC methodologies
• Exposure to scripting languages like Jscript, Python would be an added advantage
