Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to provide technical leadership and architectural direction across Epro's strategic engineering initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cloud‑native solutions while driving platform modernisation, engineering excellence, and alignment with business objectives. The architect will serve as a key technical partner to Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Principal Engineers, and delivery teams, ensuring sustainable architecture decisions and successful execution of high‑impact programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture strategy for enterprise‑scale healthcare platforms and services.
• Lead solution design for cloud‑native applications, APIs, distributed systems, and integration platforms.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable reference patterns, and engineering best practices across teams.
• Partner with engineering leadership to support platform modernisation, cloud adoption, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and operational excellence requirements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance business priorities with long‑term architectural sustainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Principal Engineers, Senior Engineers, and development teams.
• Drive architecture reviews, design governance, and technology evaluation processes.
• Support engineering teams in performance optimisation, observability, resiliency, and cost‑efficient cloud operations.
• Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure HIPAA, PHI, and PII requirements are incorporated into solution design.

Desired Experience

• 12+ years of engineering experience with significant experience in enterprise architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms, microservices, event‑driven architectures, APIs, and modern integration patterns.
• Experience leading architecture for large‑scale SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record of driving cloud migration, platform modernisation, and engineering transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
