Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Location: Bangalore, India (India GCC) / Hybrid (Works closely with global product, engineering, design, and commercial teams)
Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the end‑to‑end strategy, discovery, delivery, and outcomes for a defined product area. This role goes beyond backlog management—it requires strong customer and market insight, strategic thinking, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional leadership. The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in shaping multi‑quarter roadmaps, identifying high‑impact opportunities, and delivering measurable business outcomes for providers, payers, and partners in the US healthcare ecosystem.
Product Strategy & Vision Own the product vision and multi‑quarter roadmap for a defined product or portfolio area, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term strategic bets. Identify and articulate customer problems, market opportunities, and strategic trade‑offs to senior stakeholders. Anticipate industry, regulatory, and market shifts in US healthcare and translate them into product direction and investment choices.
Lead product discovery by synthesizing customer research, usage data, support insights, and market signals. Translate insights into clear problem statements, opportunity areas, and value hypotheses—not just feature requests. Partner with UX and research teams to validate problems and solutions early and continuously.
Own initiatives from discovery through launch and post‑launch optimization, treating outcomes—not launch—as the measure of success. Define success metrics, constraints, and acceptance criteria before development begins to enable fast, confident execution. Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and sequencing across teams.
Work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, Data, Sales, and Operations to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Manage, mentor product management team. Act as the single‑threaded owner for product decisions within the area of responsibility. Communicate product initiatives clearly using structured frameworks (e.g., Problem → Impact → Solution → Benefit → Value).
Define and track product success metrics tied to business goals such as adoption, efficiency, cost reduction, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Use data to evaluate performance, generate insights, and influence future roadmap decisions. Hold yourself and the team accountable for measurable outcomes, not just outputs.
Clear, outcome‑based product direction that aligns teams and stakeholders. Roadmaps that reflect customer value, business impact, and strategic intent. Products that demonstrate measurable improvements in adoption, efficiency, cost, or customer satisfaction. Trusted partnership with engineering, design, and business teams.
Availity fosters a collaborative and open culture where communication and engagement are central to our success. As a remote first company, we are also camera‑first and provide all associates with camera/video capability to simulate the office environment. If you are not able to use your camera for all virtual meetings, you should not apply for this role. Having cameras on helps create a more connected, interactive, and productive environment, allowing teams to communicate more effectively and build stronger working relationships. The usage of cameras also enhances security and protects sensitive company information. Video participation is required to ensure that only authorized personnel are present in meetings and to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, preventing social engineering, or the sharing of confidential information with non‑participants.
