Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Senior Product Manager

Location: Bangalore, India (India GCC) / Hybrid (Works closely with global product, engineering, design, and commercial teams)

Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the end‑to‑end strategy, discovery, delivery, and outcomes for a defined product area. This role goes beyond backlog management—it requires strong customer and market insight, strategic thinking, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional leadership. The Senior Product Manager will play a key role in shaping multi‑quarter roadmaps, identifying high‑impact opportunities, and delivering measurable business outcomes for providers, payers, and partners in the US healthcare ecosystem.

Required Qualifications (must have)
  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management, with ownership of complex, customer‑facing products.
  • Proven experience owning product strategy, discovery, and delivery end‑to‑end.
  • Strong ability to work in ambiguous, cross‑functional environments and drive clarity.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with Agile / Lean product development teams.
  • Experience in US healthcare, healthcare IT, SaaS platforms, or regulated domains.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong data literacy and comfort using metrics to drive decisions.
  • Experience in building AI native products.
  • Product innovation experience (0-1).
  • Experience working with global or distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Clinical data analysis, provider, payer, clearinghouse, or API‑driven ecosystems.
Eligibility Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision Own the product vision and multi‑quarter roadmap for a defined product or portfolio area, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term strategic bets. Identify and articulate customer problems, market opportunities, and strategic trade‑offs to senior stakeholders. Anticipate industry, regulatory, and market shifts in US healthcare and translate them into product direction and investment choices.

Customer & Market Discovery

Lead product discovery by synthesizing customer research, usage data, support insights, and market signals. Translate insights into clear problem statements, opportunity areas, and value hypotheses—not just feature requests. Partner with UX and research teams to validate problems and solutions early and continuously.

End‑to‑End Product Ownership

Own initiatives from discovery through launch and post‑launch optimization, treating outcomes—not launch—as the measure of success. Define success metrics, constraints, and acceptance criteria before development begins to enable fast, confident execution. Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and sequencing across teams.

Execution & Cross‑Functional Leadership

Work closely with Engineering, Design, QA, Data, Sales, and Operations to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Manage, mentor product management team. Act as the single‑threaded owner for product decisions within the area of responsibility. Communicate product initiatives clearly using structured frameworks (e.g., Problem → Impact → Solution → Benefit → Value).

Data, Metrics & Outcomes

Define and track product success metrics tied to business goals such as adoption, efficiency, cost reduction, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Use data to evaluate performance, generate insights, and influence future roadmap decisions. Hold yourself and the team accountable for measurable outcomes, not just outputs.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

Clear, outcome‑based product direction that aligns teams and stakeholders. Roadmaps that reflect customer value, business impact, and strategic intent. Products that demonstrate measurable improvements in adoption, efficiency, cost, or customer satisfaction. Trusted partnership with engineering, design, and business teams.

Video Camera Usage:

Availity fosters a collaborative and open culture where communication and engagement are central to our success. As a remote first company, we are also camera‑first and provide all associates with camera/video capability to simulate the office environment. If you are not able to use your camera for all virtual meetings, you should not apply for this role. Having cameras on helps create a more connected, interactive, and productive environment, allowing teams to communicate more effectively and build stronger working relationships. The usage of cameras also enhances security and protects sensitive company information. Video participation is required to ensure that only authorized personnel are present in meetings and to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, preventing social engineering, or the sharing of confidential information with non‑participants.

We love what we do. More importantly, we love where we do it. If you enjoy talented, positive people who are dedicated to working together to create awesome products and solutions, then Availity is the place for you. The work is challenging but the rewards run deep, as do the opportunities for growth. Come make your mark in a place where you will love what you do.
