Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect for SAP SD IS Retail to design scalable SAP solutions across formats and countries.

You will lead SAP solution design, localization, and WRICEF specifications while coordinating delivery, testing, and support across European operating companies. You will translate business needs into advanced capabilities, identify localization requirements, and create functional requirements to steer design and development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience.
• Deep expertise in SAP SD and IS Retail including SAP-IS: Retail Solutions.
• Hands-on WRICEF functional specifications and solution configuration.
• Experience coordinating offshore development teams and managing integration/UAT.

We are building a Solution Architect - SAP SD IS Retail to shape scalable SAP solutions across formats, channels, countries, and business models. You will lead SAP Solution Design, gap analysis, localization, and WRICEF specifications while coordinating delivery, testing, and support across European operating companies.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into advanced capabilities using best-in-class standard packages
• Identify required localization or enhancements and back recommendations with clear business cases
• Create functional requirements that steer application design and development
• Propose solutions, configure the system, and produce detailed WRICEF functional specifications
• Coordinate with offshore development teams to align technical delivery with functional requirements and quality standards
• Execute unit and functional testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Deliver best-in-class, scalable, sustainable, integrated business solutions across multiple formats, channels, countries, and business models
• Contribute to change management by supplying training content and supporting organizational transformation
• Provide 3rd level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across all European operating companies in scope
• Collaborate with peers across applications and modules to ensure seamless integration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enable effective cooperation
• Identify opportunities for business process and system enhancements with the vendor, and promote continuous improvement by evaluating work processes and user experiences

Requirements

• Proven experience of 10+ years implementing SAP applications
• Deep expertise in SAP SD and IS Retail modules, including SAP-IS: Retail Solutions
• Hands-on knowledge of WRICEF functional specifications and solution configuration
• Solid background coordinating offshore development teams and managing integration and UAT testing
• Working familiarity with change management practices and training content development
• Demonstrated ability to provide 3rd level functional support and application administration across multiple operating companies
